  1. Well, to be honest I have not really recieved a lot of letters because with today's technology we more commonly call or text. Normally, I only get birthday cards or christmas cards but those mean a lot to me too because at least they remembered or thought to send the card to me. I recieved letters at Keewaydin too, but since we were only gone for a school week there was not much change at home, but that meant a lot because at least they thought that they should send me the letter so I could feel a little more informed. I think it's hard to say when a letter has really changed me my perspective changed on the Civil War when we read soldier's letters and what hardships they had to face and there expectations. I don't think I have ever recieved a letter where it really changed who I was though.

    1. Though a phone call that changed my perspective of things is more commonly used for me but I'm not sure if it ever really changed me. I think it was hard if I got a phone call from my dad about how the cat died or from the vet on how the dog died. Those mad me sad, but I don't think it really made me permenately sad or anything. This is kinda tough for me to answer because I can't recall any calls that really stood out or were more abnormal. I have had family in war but I was not born yet when they were so I don't have any of those life threatening on the edge calls or anything.

  2. I haven't gotten a lot of letters but one time I got this letter from someone I didn't know. It was a birthday card. It said happy birthday and best wishes but it wasn't singed. It made me think that this person was just being nice. It made me want to try really hard to be nice.

    1. Brian I like how you gave an example of a life event that happened to you, nothing like that has happened to me. All though it could happen to me I don't expect it to. Do you have any other experiences anyone?

    2. I also like how you gave a example and I sometimes get cards from people that are not signed like you said.

  3. I have never received a letter that changed me, but I have had an experience. I was at sleep away camp and every one was getting letters from their family with gifts and other stuff. I didn't get a letter all week so I wrote more letters. I think maybe I felt bad that I wasn't getting any that I started sending more letters to the people that I thought would write to me. That's my experience so it did change me but only for a week I guess. Still waiting for the life changing experience.

  4. I really don't receive calls or letters that change me, but one time I did get an e-mail that changed me. It told me that I was going to have a baby cousin. It really changed my life because nobody ever told me that I was going to be the second youngest on my mom's side and I was really exited.
